"Just got back from spending 3 nights and close to 4 days here. Went there with my family that included my older parents and we all absolutely loved it. The rooms are spacious and clean, same goes for the bathrooms. We had hot water, air conditioning and no issues with any lasting power cuts. The view from the cottages is breathtaking and its a great place to just sit at and have a few drinks and eat some food and while away the time. Patnem beach is just a few minutes away from here and there are lots of good places to eat within walking distance...."
"I spent around 2 weeks at La Rocha; the place is very calm and private, with only 4 huts… Bed was large and comfy, I slept very well, hearing the sounds of the cal. waves (being on a bay). I would say location is ideal since you’re smack in between Patnem and Palolem. One highlight is the manager, Alstid, who is the sweetest person. Responsive and kind, he knows how to welcome guests. It’s quite a unique place, different than your average hotel. So if you want peace and a good vibe… choose La Rocha.."
"La Rocha is a hidden gem in south Goa that everyone must visit at least once. It’s completely unexplored. The place is peaceful and beautiful and the owner, Alstid, goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. We had originally planned to stay only for a day but extended the stay because we couldn’t get enough of the place. I would definitely go back and 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful time. The beach is just 2 mins away and there’s amazing places to eat right next to La Rocha. Pro tip: Ask Alstid for the hidden gems and he will recommend the most amazing of places that only locals know about. We had the best Goan food on this trip on his recommendation, and I’ve been going to Goa for 10 Years!! Thanks to Alstid for making this trip memorable."
"Most important: Alstid is an amazing host! So nice and caring. He will help with anything so don’t worry about any detail before coming to India, just talk to Alstid! Food is exceptional, everything is fresh and well priced. The only momos made at order and not frozen, they have so much flavor! Although you can’t swim in the beach right in front, it’s perfectly located between Patnem and Palolem. The rooms have mosquito nets, storage and are quite large. The front porches could be a bit more comfortable but the view is great. Highly recommended!..."
